Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, South Window, 100,000 piece jigsaw puzzle

Worked more early this morning on the south view painting, the natural light inside in the Cathedral is not great for painting and it was hard work this morning. I needed to do more work later on it and simplified down the colours. I’ll now wait till the paint is dry on this (and Tuesdays) canvas before doing any more work on it.

Tomorrow early I’ll start work on the first of three paintings in the Met Cathedral. Looking forward to it, great colour inside the building.

Both cathedral interiors are very different to each other but are impressive in their own way….but it does feel like in painting terms I’ve chosen a very complex jigsaw to paint!
