I started on two large country side landscape paintings from about 10:00am this morning near Storeton, the mist blocked out nearly all the distance views but the colours were great. I’m going to use a tree on the near horizon as a reference point for what will be three paintings in total of this view, there are also a series of telephone poles and lines that create a rhythm of vertical spaces to the right of the tree that I think will work well…..early days though…
