I worked on the foreground sea area on the very large ‘Wallasey’ view of Liverpool skyline and the small Tate window sketch.
Different issues being addressed in each painting and both extremes of scale, the Wallasey painting is the largest canvas in the collection and the ‘Tate’ sketch the smallest!
